Why cotton?

The light, natural cotton fabric repels flies and midges, as insects are demonstrably attracted to dark and bright colors. In particularly hot weather, the blanket can be soaked in cold water and used over the horse to cool it down. If you spray it with fly spray, the soft cotton absorbs the spray particularly well and releases the effect to the outside in a long-lasting and efficient manner.

Product Details & Care

The fly rug for grazing and transportation comes with removable, adjustable cross surcingles and a crupper. It is attached to the chest with a Velcro fastener and is also lined with cotton in the chest area. The rug can be machine washed at 30 degrees and should be left to air dry.
