Stable long hair, shiny coat and resilient hooves are the outward signs of a vital horse. However, the health of the horn, hair and skin depends heavily on the supply of nutrients that are taken in through food. If these nutrients are lacking or the need is particularly high, deficiency symptoms can occur: weak, brittle coat, sensitive skin and weakened hooves . This can make the horse more susceptible to diseases such as mud fever, eczema, fungal infections and thrush.

ESS Hoof & Hair is a specially formulated blend of high-quality nutrients that actively help prevent horn and hair problems . The powerful formula contains:

• Essential fatty acids from salmon, black cumin and linseed oil, which keep the skin healthy and ensure an elastic, resilient structure.
• High-dose biotin to support the growth of new, vital skin and hair cells – ideal for reducing hair loss and supporting the coat change.
• Zinc and DL-methionine , which help stabilize horn and hair synthesis and compensate for a deficiency if necessary.

ESS Hoof & Hair is ideal for horses of all breeds and ages to promote skin and hoof health. It is suitable for both preventative use and as a 6-8 week treatment , for example during the coat change. Horses with skin problems such as eczema or poor horn quality particularly benefit from longer feeding over 4-5 months , as it takes time for the horn to fully regenerate.
