Natural material: Made from 100% pure cotton mesh fabric, these fly rugs are gentle on the horse's skin and minimize the risk of allergic reactions and skin irritations.

Breathability: The cotton fabric offers excellent breathability and keeps horses cool and comfortable even on the hottest days. Soaked in cold water before grazing, it provides additional cooling.

Improved fly protection: The pure cotton lining in the chest area effectively absorbs fly spray and ensures a long-lasting repellent effect.

Why cotton?

The light-coloured, natural cotton fabric repels flies and mosquitoes, as insects are known to be attracted to dark and bright colours. In particularly hot weather, the blanket can be soaked in cold water and placed over the horse to help cool it down. If you spray it with fly repellent, the soft cotton absorbs the spray particularly well and releases the active ingredients efficiently and for a long time.

Product Details & Care

This fly rug, designed for use in the field and during transport, features adjustable cross-surcingles and a tail strap. It fastens at the chest with a Velcro fastener and is additionally lined with cotton in the chest area. The rug can be machine-washed at 30°C and should be left to air-dry.
