Cooling or warming?
The long loop structure of the cotton terry cloth allows for good air circulation , which leads to faster drying of the horse. In hot temperatures, the sweat rug can be soaked in cold water and placed over the horse to cool it down .
Natural + Functional
Cotton can absorb around 60% of its own weight in moisture , making it an excellent sweat rug. The underside is made of absorbent terry loops, while the top of the sweat rug is made of a luxurious, naturally glossy cotton velvet.
Pure cotton
Compared to synthetic fabrics, cotton terry cloth does not cause skin irritation or electrostatic charge . The velvety soft fabric is particularly cuddly. All yarns and trimmings are certified according to OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Product Class 1.
