In addition, the alpaca fleece girth protector is extremely breathable and thermoregulating , so that the horse sweats less in the girth.
This girth protector is the perfect choice, especially for horses with inflamed sebaceous glands or irritated skin in the saddle area. The girth protector can be ordered as a short girth or long girth or in a completely individual length and width . Simply enter the desired dimensions in the free field.

An unparalleled material for horse products
The secret lies in the fiber

NATURALLY TEMPERATURE REGULATING
Alpaca fibers adapt to temperature fluctuations: they provide warmth in cold weather and reliably dissipate heat during movement – ensuring a consistently balanced climate on the horse's body.

PRESSURE DISTRIBUTING & SHAPE-STABLE
Due to its fine, elastic fiber structure, alpaca wool distributes pressure evenly and retains its shape permanently – ideal for sensitive areas such as legs or back.

HYPOALLERGENIC & SELF-CLEANING
Alpaca wool contains no lanolin and is therefore particularly kind to the skin. Its smooth fiber structure naturally repels dirt and odors – for long-lasting freshness without frequent washing.

Our customers share experiences of how alpaca wool has helped to heal chafing and clogged sebaceous glands.
